You are purchasing a mix of 10neocaridina shrimp. They are not sexed prior to shipping, so you you will receive a mixture of males and females and sizes. I try to ship them on the younger side so as they ship and adjust better to new environments. A few extra are always provided in case some perish en route.

The Jade Green line of shrimp does not breed true. All of the shrimp you are receiving were bred from the Jade Green line. Because of this they throw off offspring that revert back to the blue/yellow/orange color spectrum. I personally do not cull/seperate them because I think the grouping of colors is eye-catching and simply do not have the spaceor time to do so.

I have provided a color breeding chart in the pictures to show you that what I say is true and how the Jade Green line was developed. I can not take credit for this chart and it's labeled "Piterrr". On Youtube there is a user named Piterr P and I believethis chart is his. The least I can do is promote him for his work creating this lineage chart.

The difficultyhere is I can not guarantee you that you will receive an equal amount of every color. Please be aware of this prior to ordering. Some customers may end up with 3 green, 4 yellow, 1 blue, and 2 orange, while the next customer ends up with a totally different combination.

Also included will be 1-2 plants for the shrimp to attach to and hold onto for more comfort during shipping. I do not ship specific plants and you will receive whatever I have an abundance of at the time. Typically these are Water Wisteria and Anacharis.

These shrimp are bred indoors in southwestern Pennsylvania. They are of great quality and are excellent and peacefultank-matesfor almost all aquarium settings. They are also proficient at algae and waste removal.

Please keep in mind that young shrimp and even the adult stressed shrimp may lack color initially. Give them some time to settle in and provide cover for them in their new environment. The shrimp in the photos are the exact tanks from which I pull my shrimp for customers. I do very little culling except to remove colorless males for the most part. And twice a year I purchase shrimp from other suppliers to diversify the gene pool. So, the photos are a fairly accurate representation of what you will receive.

I typically ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and I check whether forecasts prior to each shipment. I will contact you if I need to delay shipment for winter temperatures or other weather conditions.

Because these are live animals I am unable to accept returns.If any of your shrimp perish during shipping you must take a photo of them in the original UNOPENED bag with the date clearly displayed. If by some chance there is a major issue, I will offer partial refunds or discount a future order on a case-by-case basis.

Photo's must be taken within an hour of delivery. I can not be held responsible because a customer let the package sit out in cold or hot conditions causing the animals to perish. If you can not get to your package, please request that your post office hold it so it is not exposed to the elements. I care very much about getting these shrimp to you on time and in good condition.
