We have been making decorative surfboards since 2001.Our Decorative Surfboard Art comes in 4 sizes, 3 foot , 4 foot , 5 foot and 6 foot. Theyalso come in two shapes, Classic Longboards & Shreddin' Shortboards. They are a great accent for, bedrooms, bathrooms, tiki bars oranywhere you want a Hawaiian or Beach Decor
Our Decorative Surfboard Art is designed using stains and acrylic paints.Paints are applied byairbrushing,a technique used onmost real surfboards today.
After your Tiki Soul Decorative Surfboard Art is painted or stained, we use a high quality Epoxy finish, like the finishes of professional bar tops, to give our Decorative Surfboards a beautiful glass like glossy finish. Our Epoxy finishes are equivalent to 60 coats of regular spar urethane and contains a special UV protectant that retards it from yellowing, so your beach surf art will look awesome inside or outside. We are the only company that offers this professional finish with the UV protectant and at no additional cost to you. Decorative Surfboards covered with epoxy finishes without this added UV protectant will yellow very rapidly out in the sun. Beware of cheap epoxy finishes or those who use avarnishingor laquer. Our finish gives off no toxic fumes at all which can be a problem with heavily varnished boards. Also, the backs of all surfboards are coated with a thin layer of epoxy to seal the board completely from the elements. This is very important if the surfboard is to be hung outdoors.*IMPORTANT PLEASE READ*
All our beach decor is made from High Quality Cypress Woodand takes 10-13 weeksto produce due to the popularity of our designs and our superior quality.Each piece of Cypress is handpicked so you get a high quality decorative surfboard with beautiful grains and textures. Hanging hardware is included with each board, not installed, this way you can decide which way your surfboard will hang. Read carefully about the woods used in otherdecorativesurfboards. Laminated pine or plywoods of any type will not stand the test of time. We know 1st handbecausewhen we startedmakingdecorative surfboards in 2001 those are the woods we usedbecausethey were cheap any easily obtainable. We use solid cypressbecauseit will last years and years displayed indoors or outside. We live in South Florida in very rough elements, rain, heat, and blazing sun and all our surfboards that we have made from cypress over 9 years ago are still looking like new.
