Jo was my baby. when I first got him, he was badly abused with open sores and was so scared that he hide under my couch for nearly two weeks.it took alot of patience before he would have anything to do with human contact. As the years passed we became the best of pals, and he was the lite of my life.he was very well behaved and intellegent. he loved sour cream and onions potato chips and once he got into my husbands honey and lemon cough drops and from then on would drool anytime he smelt them.[i didnt let him have anymore]he despized squeaky toys with a passion and thought he could run with the biggest dog and take them down if needed. when my husband and i decided to build our house we moved in with our in-laws temporarily, but they wouldnt allow my baby inside, so we fixed him a place in the storage building and hoped we could have our home ready soon. unforunatly jo slipped out one morning and followed my husband down our driveway and became lost. that evening my husband and i searched for him everywere with no luck. we drove to the animal shelter to see if he might be there and they informed us that lady had hit a daushund and had brought him in. jo had been paralyzed from the waist down but because he didnt have tags, they could not reach me and they decided to put him down. i lost my best friend that day and learned a very valuable lesson.always have identification for your pets. If I'd got Jo a tag then the shelter could have contacted me and Jo could have been saved. I had JOJO for 7 years untill that fateful day , but I know he's in a better place and he's no longer paralized and he's happy. I will never forget him but I will always miss him. Love your pets like theres no tomorrow and always remember that they cry to.
